DMH Weight Manangment program honored at national conference

Of the 77 programs represented, only two were honored. Among the winners: the DMH Weight Management program.

The DMH Weight Management program received special recognition as a center of excellence for excelling in the care and treatment of obese patients at the annual Robard National Weight Management for Weight Loss conference held recently in Chicago.

“These awards recognize the excellent staff associated with the program,” says Tim Miller, MD, Medical Director, DMH Weight Management which began in November 2004.

“Our program is different because we are medically monitored by a full team of healthcare professionals and our focus is on long term weight maintenance through lifestyle modifications,” Dr. Miller says.

“Weightloss does not cure obesity,” says Dr. Miller. “We consider a person a success when he/she accomplishes our mission statement of making them healthier individuals.”
