Physicians welcomed

Cardiologist Theodore Addai, MD, has joined the DMH Medical Staff. He completed an echocardiography fellowship in 1994, a cardiology fellowship in 1993 and an internal medicine residency, all at Cook County Hospital, Chicago. Dr. Addai earned a medical degree in 1985 at the University of Ghana Medical School, Accra, Ghana, 1985. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine—Cardiovascular Disease, the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Addai joins Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants located in the DMH Heart and Lung Institute, 217-876-2400.

Family Practitioner Larry dePedro, MD, has joined the DMH Medical Staff. He completed a family medicine residency in 2006 at Rush Copley Family Medicine, Aurora, Illinois. He earned a medical degree in 2000 at the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines. Dr. dePedro joins Doctors Family Practice, 2975 W. Water St., Decatur, 217-876-5320.

Family Practitioner Doug Ellis, MD, has joined the DMH employed group of physicians. Dr. Ellis completed his family practice residency in 1991 at Southern Illinois University Decatur Family Practice Residency Program. He earned his medical degree in 1988 at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Ellis’ office is located in Decatur at 330 N. Wyckles Rd., 217-876-8270.

Neurosurgeon Thomas Fulbright, MD, has joined the DMH Medical Staff. He returns to Decatur to join the practice of Drs. Oliver Dold and Robert Kraus, Jr. Dr. Fulbright completed a neurological surgery residency in 1987 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. He earned his medical degree in 1981 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Fulbright’s office is located on the DMH campus at 2 Memorial Drive, 217-876-2780.
